This heritage villa was fully refurbished with high levels of insulation and double-glazed windows. A widened entry hall, new stair and bathrooms complement the character features of the original house.

A contrasting north facing addition includes the kitchen, dining and living spaces with level access to a decked courtyard and garden. During the day the sun fills these spaces and heat is absorbed into the exposed concrete floor. At night a warm ambience is maintained through the timber ceilings and finishing trims.
